In August 2007, UDL Laboratories, Inc., one of the nation’s largest suppliers of multi source unit dose pharmaceuticals to the institutional marketplace, introduced an expanded formulary to their Punch Card packaging design for unit dose dispensing in the Long Term Care setting.
The UDL Punch Card product line offers a 30-count, ready-to-use package that is finished in a standard size, non-reclaimable heat-sealed card and bar coded at the dispensing card level. Each dose is individually identified with product name, lot number, expiration date and NDC number.
