UDL NDC Directory Look-Up
The National Drug Code (NDC) is a unique 10-digit, 3-segment numeric identifier assigned to drug products. It is comprised of:
- Labeler Code - a 4 or 5 digit number assigned by the FDA that identifies the establishment
- Product Code - a 3 - 4 digit number that identifies a specific strength, dosage form and formulation for a particular firm
- Package Code – a 1 -2 digit number that identifies a package size and type
UDL has been assigned a five digit Labeler Code, 51079, which follows the 5-3-2 format.
The FDA NDC Directory only recognizes a 10 digit NDC Code; therefore a leading zero in front of the labeler code or the product code will not be recognized in the directory.
OTC products will not be included in the FDA Directory. For a listing of UDL OTC products, click here.
